Hi Sam, I bought a new mobile (Plum mobiles- Ram 8-4g (model#E8000US) )from US. I wanted to use this for my Jio network in India. While inserting this sim I am not getting any signal. I have tested with Airtel, however I can only see 3g and able call with this. Could you help to fix this issue and should able to use my Jio sim with this mobile. I have tried to add the APN setting, however I am seeing the APN quite different and not able to configure; like it has home page, primary DNS, secondary DNS and ip details. But, the jio APN having only proxys which I am not able to follow.

I have Win XP old laptop but the IP address 208.67.222.222 & Alternate DNS address 208.67.220.220 is not working with Jio-Fi, Please help with alternate solution, since it can send data but cannot receive data; However it is working with Vodafone Hotspot. Seems something wrong with the settings of my laptop set, your help will be highly appreciated. It is to mention I have put-off the Firewall and tried but no pages are opening.

This has worked. I was out for some time. Away from my home. I tried Jio customer care. They were helpful and trying to find out solution but before that I found this one and its working now. Thanks a lot for this solution.

Many thanks. Your tip saved me a lot of time . I’m travelling for a few days and had to connect my laptop using Jio on my mobile. But most the websites just could not resolve DNS. I followed these steps and can confirm that things are working great for me now. Many thanks again 🙂
